New Applicants

Registered Social Worker (Bachelors level credential)

 

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree from accredited social work program

Certified Social Worker/Licensed Masters Social Worker (Masters level credential)

 

  • Master’s degree from accredited graduate school of social work
  • Upon completion and approval from the Board, will receive issuance of the CSW and approval to sit for the ASWB Master’s exam. Once Masters exam is passed, will receive LMSW

FILING A SUPERVISION CONTRACT IS THE FIRST STEP WHEN STARTING SUPERVISION. DO NOT START THE APPLICATION UNLESS A SUPERVISION CONTRACT HAS BEEN FILED. SEE THE SUPERVISION PAGE FOR MORE INFORMATION.

 

You will keep track of your supervision hours here
  • 3,000 work hours under LCSW-BACS supervision
  • 96 face-to-face supervision hours

Licensed Clinical Social Worker- BACS

 

  • 6.5 hour supervision workshop
  • Documentation of completing a board orientation workshop
  • Two letters of recommendation
